Benefitting Kids @ Children's Hospital

I am not only thrilled, but honored to write this blog post today.  Why?  The answer is quite simple.  Even before I was a father of two (awesome) daughters I had always been, and still am, pierced to the heart when I see anyone physically challenged, and even more so when it's a child.  You've no doubt seen footage of children either connected to a bunch of tubes and machines or, perhaps, with no hair due to cancer treatments.

How many times have you said, like me, I'm so glad my kids are healthy or something to that affect?  Have you ever wished there was something you could do to boost their spirits?  Well, there is a way to do it...please read further.

Last year I read a post, I believe it was on Voices.com's VOX Daily, that mentioned a project being produced that would bring together voice actors & singers.  I continued reading and learned that Jeff Gelder of Gelderhead Productions in San Diego, was looking for submissions for possible inclusion in the Holiday Magic CD.  This CD is given out to kids at Children's Hospital.

Once I read about the project I thought "I've got the perfect thing!".  I had already created a Christmas song for kids earlier in the year...not really sure what I was going to do with it at the time, but just had "an idea" and acted on it.  I grabbed a copy of it and submitted to Jeff Gelder.  I was humbled and so pleased to learn it would be included on last years CD.

Now, here we are in 2009 and Gelderhead Productions is ready to bless the folks at Children's Hospital once again.  In an email yesterday I told Jeff to send over some information so I could let all those who read my blog know of this exciting and wonderful project.

Here is the PRESS RELEASE sent over by Jeff:  Holiday Magic 2009 PRESS RELEASE
