I'm a video editing "hobbiest" of sorts. I have some background in the TV business, live camera directing, video production, operating cameras, producing projects etc. So, whenever I see exceptional video production quality, I like to let the folks know. Back when I was involved in this kind of work, I often found the process to be a quite thankless job, except for those of us who were part of the creative process. The whole world of "creative" work is sometimes lost on folks...understandably, I suppose.

Not long ago I did some work for a well known global relief organization, another company whose video quality is stellar in every way...I told them so, and they were very appreciative of my remarks...maybe even surprised that a "voiceover guy" would send a pat on the back for their work.

Most recently, I had the honor of partnering with an Addy Award Winning production company for a Krochi Wrestling spot. I was immediately impressed with the visuals they created. I could easily appreciate the countless hours it took to wrap this project up...I told them so.

I've had a long running business relationship with the relief organization...just yesterday we worked together as they are busy getting supplies to those affected by the recent quakes and tsunami. When we do projects together it's like comrades working side by side...I value what they do, and I think they value the fact that I value them! I would not be a bit surprised if that same atmosphere of commradore happens with my latest client, Nickolas Duarte and Crown Chimp Productions.
